As LagosPhoto officially opens today, we have more information on events to attend in the coming days, one of such is LagosPhoto Platforms for 2016.

Platforms 2016, bring together immersive and interactive talks, workshops, artist presentations and panel discussions that explore issues related to community, ownership, sharing, (re)-appropriation, rituals, performance, professional practice, intervention, and history. Aspects of practice that represent contemporary and historical perspectives to visual engagement in Africa. The theme for platforms 2016 is Navigating a Treacherous Terrain and this year’s program is curated by Bernard Akoi Jackson, Azu Nwagbogu, Wunika Mukan, and Arinola Olowoporoku.
