The outdoor exhibition of the popular Wind Sculpture by Nigerian-British artist Yinka Shonibare MBE announced in September  is now open at the Ndubuisi Kanu Park in Lagos.

The batik sculpture numbered six (VI) was installed on Sunday 20th November for a two and half month long exhibition. Put together by the British Council, this marks the first solo presentation by Shonibare in Nigeria and the official reception hosting the artist is scheduled for Thursday 24th November 2016.

Other programs for the exhibition include a student lecture and film screening on Friday 25th November and Sunday 27th November respectively.  To attend, register on the British Council Nigeria website as stated in the banners below.
