Made-in-Nigeria Afrocentric products platform, Bellafricana, has announced the first edition of a yearly awards program called the Bellafricana African Creative Exhibition and Awards. The event presents an opportunity to recognise, encourage and reward the hardworking owners of creative businesses whose work has had an impact on lives and the Nigerian economy.

The annual event tagged Bellafricana ACE Awards has been endorsed by Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) and the Nigeria-Britain Association. The first edition will hold on 17 April 2017 and the theme for the year is Celebrating Creativity and Innovation.

ACE Awards 2017 is a three-part event that will feature an exhibition, a conference and an awards dinner. The exhibition and conference will run concurrently during the day and climax with an awards dinner at night. The exhibition will offer access to top quality creative Afrocentric businesses with discounted made-in-Nigeria products in arts & crafts, fashion, health & beauty, home & living, and food products.

The conference, designed to engage and enlighten participants through sessional talks, will be led by renowned business owners who have garnered experience in the fields of marketing, branding, exports, financial management, sustainability and running global businesses. The conference fee is N10,000 with a 50% discount on early bird tickets until the 1st of March, 2017.
