A solo exhibition by Nigerian Artist Duke Asidere titled “Conversations” opens tomorrow at Photo Garage in Maryland. The works presented in this exhibition holds the basis for diverse conversations ongoing in our present political dilemma as well as matters that besets us like love, aloneness, ambition, hopes and awareness of one’s home land.

Duke Asidere hopes this body of work would lead us into “conversations”, break the fences and open the floor for everyone to dialogue with each other or self.

The exhibition opens on  Wednesday 18th March, 2015 and runs till 18th of April 2015.
Time: 4:00 pm
Venue: Photo Garage. 45 Ajose street Mende, Maryland. (Lagos)

The artist’s Oeuvre tasks our intellect and yet keeps us tuned to be originally simple to content and form. This usually results to the forward slash joining of words when describing the uniqueness of his works; playfully-serious, childishly-matured, carefully-free and shockingly-peaceful.

Come by and join in the conversations.
