Last Sunday 14th of June 2015, multidisciplinary artist Mode Aderinokun launched the Studio of Modé gallery and Store at Parkview Estate, Ikoyi.

A work of art in itself, the gallery takes visitors on a visual journey of Mode’s growth and diversity as an artist in the past 4 years. Some of the guests at the event were Bolanle Austen-Peters, Bubu Ogisi, General Ajibade, Makida Moka, Mr Jimi Agbaje, Oreoluwa Shonibare of Channels TV, and Ozzy Agu of Studio 53 Xtra amongst others.

The incredible turnout was inspiring for Mode and her team. The guests did not only show up to enjoy the beauty of the space and work, they also supported the growing business with an impressive purchase record of artworks and art accessories including tote bags, greeting cards, t-shirts, iPad and laptop skins, and mobile phone covers.

Mode Aderinokun dedicates the space to her late father, Mr. Olutayo Aderinokun, who was a patron of the arts, writer and an art enthusiast.
