As the holidays get closer, Lagos becomes more busy and exciting with so many events happening at once. Thankfully, the Lagos art scene is not left behind. There are more interesting art places to go and exciting fine art exhibitions to see till the new year. One of such places is the contemporary art space – Art Twenty One – that is home to regular remarkable art exhibition in Lagos.
Art Twenty One is pleased to present Platform, a group exhibition that explores the confluence of art, fashion and design. Conceived as a pop-up concept space, Platform includes twenty-one artists working across multiple disciplines including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video, collage, clothing, textiles, jewelry and furniture.
With a focus on expanded practices outside of the traditional confines of the gallery walls, this exhibition reflects creative innovations and contemporary sensibilities of an emerging generation in Africa and the diaspora today. Platform includes artists working in Nigeria, Togo, Ivory Coast, UK, Lebanon, and Canada. The opening date is December 12th 2015.

Art Twenty One is located at the Eko Hotels & Suites at 1415 Adetokunbo Ademola Street, in Victoria Island, Lagos. The exhibition runs until January 21st, 2016.
