That Art Fair, an initiative of Art Africa, presents its 2016 all round art events in Cape Town, South Africa. The 2016 art fair is an eighteen days lineup of exhibitions and events, and will take place from the 17th of February – 6th of March.
That Art Fair is a platform to discuss innovative ideas and originating new perspectives on the growth of Pan-African and global art. It presents an opportunity for artists collectors, gallerists, curators, creatives and the media to network. The organisers believe;
Creating a young and invested collector base and encouraging new and supportive audiences is essential to sustaining a vibrant and unique African creative economy.
Artists from Nigeria participating are plasto-art sculptor – Ifeoma Ugonnwa Anyaeji, mixed media artist – Yusuf Seidu Okus, and protest art painter – Bob Nosakhare Uwagboe.
The events will take place at 145 Sir Lowry Road, Woodstock, 2146 Cape Town, South Africa. The highlights to look forward to are : the VIP opening event (by invitation only), the Art party, the launch of “That Film Focus” and Art Africa forum which holds on 27th February.
