More Young Artists Featured in the Upcoming Affordable Art Auction by Arthouse Contemporary

Coming up in March is the fifth edition of the annual Affordable Art Auction by Arthouse Contemporary at the Kia Showroom in Lagos. 

As with previous editions, the Affordable Art Auction aims at boosting the interest of young and new collectors by presenting works at accessible prices, under one million Nigerian naira. The selected works at this edition are by renowned modern and contemporary artists, and thriving young artists in the African art scene – some of whom are selling at the auction market for the first time.

Some of the young artists featured are Noma Osula, Dare Adenuga, Muyiwa Akinwolere, Edozie Anedu, Deborah Segun, Johnson Uwadinma, Agemo Francis, Timi Kakandar, John Madu, Femi Morakinyo, Qozeem Abdullahman, Onyinye Afam and Michael Eneijson.

Included in the of 101 artworks going under the hammer is a print of Ben Enwonwu’s famous “Princess Tutu” painting.

Artworks are available for preview on Friday, March 6 at 10 am – 6 pm and on Saturday, March 7 at 10 am – 1 pm. The auction holds on Saturday, March 7 at 6pm. Venue: Kia Showroom, 308 Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. See more details here.
